"barn doors" (shutter like devices to control the spill of light) as
an accessory.
Ellipsoidals are most often used for general acting area
lighting, back or side lighting, pattern projection, and specials.
Sometimes Ellipsoidal instruments are referred to as ERS's,
Ellipsoidal Reflector Spotlights.
