| The Type IOP/2 Control Console is a desk
top portable console that provides control of the light output for all stage
and house dimmers. It has two scene capacity - while one scene is playing on
stage, the second scene may be preset in advance. Each control channel (dimmer
control) can be on split fade, independent master or grand master for
flexibility of control.

There are two controllers (potentiometers) for
each channel (or two horizontal rows of dimmer controllers for two scene
presets).
All controllers are carbon strip type and
enclosed in a dust sealed unit. Each mechanically mounted controller is a
slider type with 2 3/8" travel for a fully regulated control of dimming
intensity from bright (10) to blackout (0). Controller scale is permanently
silk screened to the panels board. Rear illuminated type controllers are
optional. A selector switch is provided with each control channel to extend the
control to scene faders, independent master or off.
The split fader cross fades between two scenes
or controls each scene independently. It provided dipless cross fading between
two scenes when the output of the dimmer in the opposite preset is set to the
same intensity. This action is accomplished with no greater that a .5 Volt
dip.
